Transfusion Tracker

It's important to keep track of your transfusions so you and your doctor will know when you've had 10 or more transfusions and are at risk for iron overload. Use the Transfusion Tracker to keep a record of all your transfusions in one place.

Many people find it difficult to remember how many transfusions they've had. If you can't remember all your transfusions, don't worry. Just ask the nurse or caregiver at the center where you get blood transfusions to help you complete your Transfusion Tracker. Then update the Transfusion Tracker each time you get a transfusion. Continue to write down your transfusions even after you've been tested for iron overload. Knowing how many transfusions you've had will help you talk with your doctor about your risk for iron overload.
